Get2Med

Welcome!

We’re Get2Med, a passionate initiative founded by two 4th-year medical students from Newcastle University. We know the struggles of getting into medicine first-hand. However, we were able to score in the top 10% in the UCAT and achieved top grades in GCSE and A-levels to secure our places. Our journey fuels our commitment to guiding disadvantaged UK youth through this challenging path, blending expertise with inspiration to support the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Why us?

Our teaching style blends engaging online classroom learning with trusted mentors, focusing on helping secondary school students get into medical school ,, in particular those from Widening Participation background and partner schools.. We provide personalised support to aspiring young learners, equipping them with the skills needed for admission. As we continue to expand, we remain dedicated to enhancing our outreach and evolving our approach.

Our Experience

  • Peer Mentoring: We support first-year medical students, aiding their transition and proven exam success.
  • Tutoring: We tutor GCSE and A-Level students, helping them achieve top grades like we did for medical school.
  • Widening Access: Involved with Newcastle Widening Access to Medicine Society, we organise events and workshops for local secondary students interested in medicine.
