WIDENING PARTICIPATION CRITERIA

Please find our Widening Participation criteria. If you meet any of the criteria, please get in touch to get ahead of an increasingly competitive field.

• You are from a Black, Asian, or Minority Ethnic (BAME) background.
• From a low-income background (e.g., household income of £35,000 or less, or receipt of discretionary school/college payments linked to financial hardship).
• Living in areas with low higher education participation (e.g., POLAR4 Quintile 1 or 2).
• First in the family to attend university (no parental higher education experience).
• Care-experienced or a care leaver (e.g., any time spent in local authority care).
• Having / have previously had caring responsibilities for a dependent (e.g., due to illness, disability, mental distress, or substance abuse, confirmed by a referee).
• Estranged from parents or carers (irreconcilable breakdown in relationship leading to ceased contact, confirmed by a referee).
• Refugees, asylum seekers, or those under humanitarian protection with leave to remain or enter the UK.
• You are a student at one of our partner schools.
